New and Returning Umpires: Auburn Little League will be offering two umpire training sessions for the 2012 season. We would like all of our new and returning umpires and managers to attend at least one of these sessions to catch up on the new rule changes and to refresh your memory on field mechanics. All new umpires are required to attend either the D-10 all day training session or the Auburn Training Session, we highly recommend attending both.
Auburn Little League relies on youth umpires for all divisions, Again this year we are required to have an adult Umpire Consultant who will be responsible for overseeing how the game is being played and to make sure spectator conduct remains positive. Also if there is only 1 umpire for a game that Umpire must be an adult 18 or older (9.03 a)
Please remember that all managers are responsible for umpiring four regular season games. Two by the manager and two by an adult volunteer/coach associated with the manager’s team.

Time: 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
Softball Players – We Need YOU!!! Players 12 and older are encouraged to umpire! No one knows the game as well as a player! We are always looking for umpires for softball games. Take time to enjoy the game you play from the other side of the plate.
