All players and players’ parents must sign the Concussion form and have on record with the Safety Director before they are allowed to practice and or play in any game.
Every Manager has been provided with a safety kit to be kept with them at all times. That includes practices! Each Manager is to have ice, and plastic zip lock baggies to hold the ice. Chemical ice packs are not to be used on the face. If supplies need to be replenished, please contact the Safety Director.
Injuries requiring a doctor’s visit must be reported to the Safety Director within 24 hours. The league has a secondary insurance with a $50 deductible clause. The Safety Director will do whatever can be done to help expedite any claims filed. Equipment has been safety checked before being assigned. Each Manager should continue to check for cracks in helmets and bats and that any bat brought to games is "Little League Approved".
All claims must be completed, authorized and submitted by the Safety Director only.
Auburn Little League has a great safety record thanks to all involved and we hope to continue that record this year. If you see a player from any team or league in violation of a safety rule, please bring it to the attention of the umpire.
